Blood pressure is normal body 120/80 (systolic pressure of 120 mmHg and 80 mmHg diastolic pressure). However, the blood pressure values did not have a standard value. It varies depending on physical activity and emotional person.
Hypertension is a disorder that is difficult to know by our own bodies. The only way to know hypertension is to measure our blood pressure regularly. Given that nine out of ten people who suffer from hypertension could not identify the cause of the disease. Hypertension can be derived from real parents to their children. If one parent affected by hypertension, the tendency of children to suffer from hypertension are greater than those who do not have parents suffering from hypertension.
Complaints that may arise as a result of hypertension include pain in the back of the head area, nosebleeds, blurred vision, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, and so on.
Hypertension can be classified according to the cause as follows:
- Hipretensi primary hypertension is of unknown cause.
- Secondary hypertension, the hypertension caused by disease, drugs, or pregnancy.
Meanwhile, according to WHO classification of hypertension based on diastolic pressure, namely:
- Hypertension degree I, ie, if diastoliknya pressure 95-109 mm Hg.
- Hypertension degrees II, ie, if diastoliknya pressure 110-119 mmHg.
- Hypertension degree III, ie, if diastoliknya pressure over 120 mm Hg.
Suspected hypertension may develop into health problems more serious and can even cause death.
Hypertension is often called the silent killer disease because of two things, namely:
- Hypertension difficult to realize someone because hypertension has no specific symptoms. Mild symptoms such as dizziness, anxiety, nosebleeds, and headaches are rarely directly related to hypertension. Hypertension can be identified by measuring blood pressure regularly.
- Patients with hypertension, if not handled properly, will have a big risk to die from cardiovascular complications such as stroke, heart attack, heart failure, and kidney failure.
Treatment of hypertension can be done as follows:
